Challenge #140 – use a doily

A small doily I got from a friend who wanted to clear out the linen closet of thing never used so it ended up on this card insted of being forgotten and neglected in a dark closet.

I have colored the stamp with distress ink and have blended it with water and painted it on a aqvarell paper.

The card base are a sheet of craft cardstock folded in 15 x 15 inches and a small piece of patterned papper makes the sentiment on the card with a ribbon tied around it. 

The ribbon came on a gift so I do not know the manucatur but it is a silk dotted ribbon easy to find in any sewing shop or scrapbook shop.

The items are stapled to the cardstock to avoid fuss with glue since I have bad experience with glue and doilies before…

A close up, like to add a grey shade to the image to make the girl pop out a little bit.
